Senior Policy Planner

Grow your career at Dartford, the second fastest growing place in the country. With the Local Plan  adopted, the Planning Strategy and Infrastructure team are working on new forms of planning policies, supplementary documents, additional guidance and plans for infrastructure.

Located on the River Thames, the Borough is a complex mix of both urban and rural environments, including Ebbsfleet Garden City and Bluewater shopping centre, but also the River Darent valley, marshland, chalk grassland heath and Ancient Woodland.

We are looking for experienced strategic and flexible thinkers keen for a challenge in a positive high growth environment.  We are a friendly and integrated team, with planners, urban designers and infrastructure professionals working together. You will have demonstrable analytical and written skills, a creative approach to problem solving and good communication skills.
